Warehouse Supervisor

Accentuate Staffing has partnered with an established distribution organization in the Charlotte area that is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations and support a high-performing team. This opportunity offers a blend of leadership and hands-on responsibilities within a fast-paced environment that plays a critical role in ensuring products are accurately received, stored, and delivered to customers. The organization is looking for an individual who can help drive efficiency, maintain operational standards, and contribute to the overall success of the facility.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse, distribution, or operations environments and be comfortable leading by example. This role requires an individual who enjoys being actively involved in day-to-day warehouse activities while supervising staff, managing inventory processes, and supporting delivery operations. Strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to adapt to changing business needs are essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily warehouse and distribution activities, ensuring efficient receiving, storage, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping operations.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to warehouse associates, drivers, and frontline personnel to maintain productivity and performance standards.
• Monitor inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and process improvements to minimize discrepancies and support operational goals.
• Assist with hands-on warehouse functions as needed, including operating material handling equipment and supporting workflow during busy periods.
• Coordinate delivery and transportation activities to help ensure timely and accurate service to customers.
• Promote a safe work environment by enforcing company policies, operational procedures, and safety best practices.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, or operations environments.
• 3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience overseeing warehouse teams and daily operations.
• Experience using RF scanners and operating warehouse equipment such as sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, and order-picking equipment.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control, cycle counting, warehouse procedures, and distribution operations.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed to support operational demands, including occasional early mornings or extended hours.
• Valid driver's license required; experience operating a box truck or supporting delivery functions is a plus.
