Description

The Manager of Distribution, Fulfillment, and Facilities is a hands-on leader responsible for the day-to-day management and performance of warehouse operations at the Charlotte, NC facility, while also providing facilities management oversight for the Charlotte, NC location. This role combines warehouse leadership with facilities management. The ideal candidate is comfortable leading employees on the warehouse floor while also managing facility maintenance, vendors, preventive maintenance, building projects, safety and compliance, and facility improvements.

• · Provide overall leadership and management of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, order fulfillment, shipping, and material handling.
• · Assign daily work and adjust staffing as needed.
• · Lead, train, and coach warehouse associates. Provide disciplinary action when necessary.
• · Develop and maintain a productive, collaborative, engaged, and accountable warehouse team.
• · Oversee employee performance evaluations, timecard approval, scheduling, and time-off requests.
• · Maintain a strong on-floor presence; assist with receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and staging as needed.
• · Conduct regular team meetings and maintain effective communication throughout the department.
• · Ensure Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and departmental processes are current, effective, and consistently followed.
• · Respond to customer feedback and warehouse-related corrective actions within the company quality system.
• · Develop and maintain cross-training plans to improve flexibility and reduce operational risk.
• · Lead continuous improvement initiatives and support the implementation of operational changes.
• · Identify opportunities to improve workflow, productivity, quality, space utilization, and labor efficiency.

• · Maintain overall responsibility for warehouse inventory accuracy and inventory control processes.
• · Oversee receiving accuracy, inventory transactions, cycle counting, physical inventories, inventory adjustments, and material movement.
• · Analyze inventory discrepancies and ensure appropriate investigation and corrective action.
• · Review and approve inventory adjustments in accordance with company procedures and established authorization requirements.
• · Lead and coordinate the annual physical inventory process, including planning, preparation, counting, reconciliation, reporting, and follow-up actions.
• · Ensure proper storage, organization, labeling, rotation, and handling of inventory
• · Identify and implement improvements to inventory control processes and systems.

• · Provide facilities management oversight for SATO America Charlotte, NC facility.
• · Serve as a primary point of contact for facility maintenance, repairs, projects, and other building-related needs
• · Coordinate preventive maintenance and repairs for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, roofing, docks, doors, fire protection, and other building systems.
• · Select, negotiate with, and manage facility service providers and suppliers, including cleaning/janitorial services, coffee and breakroom services, landscaping, pest control, waste management, furniture, copier, and other facility-related vendors; monitor service quality, pricing, and performance to ensure company needs are met.
