Salary Range: $19.00 To $21.00 Hourly

The Warehouse Lead plays a crucial role in overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient workflow, and maintaining safety standards. This position acts as a bridge between warehouse associates and supervisors, providing direction, support, and hands‑on assistance to ensure productivity and accuracy in all warehouse activities.

WAREHOUSE LEAD
- DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate and monitor the activities of warehouse associates to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Assist in training new employees and provide ongoing guidance to team members.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and company policies.
  • Oversee inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and shipping of goods.
  • Identify and resolve workflow or process issues to improve efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively with management and other departments regarding operational needs and updates.
  • Perform regular quality checks and assist with cycle counts or inventory audits as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
WAREHOUSE LEAD
- QUALIFICATIONS:

  • One to two years of related experience in a warehouse environment
  • Prior experience with material handling equipment such as sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, and stock pickers
  • Familiarity with shipping practices and handling methods
  • Experience using handheld RF scan guns and basic computer skills
  • Positive and professional attitude with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards with good oral communication skills and strong attention to detail
  • Preferred a valid driver's license
  • Ability to pass company background screening, motor vehicle report and drug testing requirements

Work environment:

  • Ability to be on feetfor the entire shift with constant lifting, pulling, bending, kneeling, etc. for 8+ hours at a time.
  • Lift and move at least 75 pounds without assistance, up to 130 pounds with help
  • Pick, pack, and stack 100-1000 boxes daily
  • Engage in climbing, sitting, lifting, walking, stooping, bending, overhead lifting, and stair climbing
  • Operate and climb into forklifts
  • Ability to safely climb up and down stairs or steps to enter and exit industrial equipment and or trucks
  • Stand for extended periods
  • Safety footwear, such as steel toe or composite toe, is mandatory
  • Most work occurs in a warehouse with varying temperatures and moderate to high noise levels
  • Some areas may become dusty if products are stationary
