The Associate Accounting Consultant – IBAS is a client-facing accounting role supporting a portfolio of franchise locations. This position blends core accounting execution with consultative communication to deliver accurate, timely financial reporting that helps franchise owners make informed business decisions.
You will joining Insight Business Accounting Solutions (IBAS), PSB’s internal accounting and the financial services team, which provides full-cycle booking and financial reporting support across all PSB brands.

Key Responsibilities- Categorize bank and credit card transactions in Quick Books Online (QBO).
- Enter and review vendor bills and recurring expenses.
- Prepare and post journal entries, including payroll, royalties, loan payments.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and CRM-imported customer payments.
- Review Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheets for accuracy.
- Support monthly close processes, targeted for completion by the 15th of each month.
- Serve as a point of contact for franchise owners.
- Assist with new franchisee onboarding (OXP Process).
- Follow IBAS checklists, workflow and documentation standards.
- Communicate clearly with franchise owners regarding financial questions and reporting timelines.
- Associate degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
- Familiarity with Quick Books Online preferred.
- Understanding of P&L and Balance Sheet fundamentals. Working knowledge of Profit & Loss statements and balance sheet fundamentals.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts and recurring deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment.
- Service-oriented mindset with the ability to explain financial information clearly.
