The Opportunity
As a Staff Accountant at Anchor, you will participate in the creation, collection, review, and reporting of revenue and expenses for Anchor Health Properties and its clientele. You will be exposed to the entirety of the monthly accounting and property management cycles, and be expected to act as an ambassador for the company, being proactive, creative, and outcome‑oriented.
Annual base salary: $60,000–$65,000, with a discretionary bonus opportunity.

- Review and analyze general ledger for accuracy and reasonableness; knowledge of accrual and cash basis a plus.
- Assist in preparation of monthly reports, lease administration, and completion of Net–Net–Net CAM reconciliations.
- Perform tenant ledger reconciliations and aged receivable reconciliations.
- Manage companies’ A/P and A/R, enter and review journal entries, coding, and clerical functions.
- Ensure proper audit trail and supporting documentation have been filed.
- Develop Yardi Voyager expertise with day‑to‑day knowledge of system analytics, inputs, tools, methods, and processes.
- Generate and develop financial spreadsheets and reports in Microsoft Excel.
- Conduct assigned research projects and prepare informal summaries for business development and management decisions.
- Work closely with the Controller on special assignments.
- Meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, energetic work ethic, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Teachable attitude, “can do” mindset, professional correspondence etiquette, strong interpersonal skills, and ownership pride of deliverables.
- Strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Programs, especially Excel.
- Eagerness to learn and grow personally and professionally.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Capability to complete tasks with minimal management review.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or finance preferred; associate’s degree or equivalent experience considered.
- 1–2 years of accounting experience preferred.
- Prior real estate or corporate finance/accounting experience a plus.
- Specific experience with Yardi Voyager a plus.
