Segra is searching for a qualified and experienced Manager, Accounting to join us in a full-time capacity.
Location RequirementThe work arrangement for this role is a hybrid position, requiring a minimum of three (3) days in the office, with flexibility to work remotely two (2) days each week.
Role OverviewThe position is responsible for accounting functions including month‑end close, financial statement preparation and analysis, balance sheet reconciliation preparation and/or review and other regulatory, compliance, and external reporting. The Accounting Manager will review and analyze complex transactions, new accounting standards and non‑standard contracts and document preliminary conclusions of proper accounting treatment under US GAAP. The accounting manager is a primary point of contact for teams outside accounting to ensure accounting policies are understood and followed.
This position leads a team of 3‑4 Senior/Accountants.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, CPA or MBA required.
Experience:
- A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in accounting required with at least 4 years of management experience leading a team of finance professionals.
- Big Four or regional audit experience preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
- Able to work on multiple tasks with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Accounting System Experience required (Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred, Power BI a plus).
Key
Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, accounting procedures, ASC
606 and ASC
842 required. - Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, preferably including advanced Excel skills over large amounts of data (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables and Charts).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing business needs in a fast‑paced environment and offer innovative solutions.

Salary Range$86,205 - $107,835
