Albemarle County is seeking an Accountant in the Finance and Budget department to maintain fiscal records for accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and the general ledger. The role requires independent judgment and supports year-end closing, reconciliations, and audits.
You will prepare reports for the county and partners, handle payroll and payments, and ensure records comply with policy. On-site with hybrid options;
Virginia residency required.
