** Position Summary
** The Accounts Receivable Associate is responsible for processing payments, maintaining accurate aging, maintaining overdue accounts, and taking a collaborative approach to solving customer discrepancies.

** Essential Duties and Responsibilities
*** Maintain accounts receivable records to ensure aging is accurate
* Verify invoices for appropriate documentation prior to payment
* Monitor incoming payments and ensure they are applied correctly
* Resolve discrepancies between customer payments and invoices
* Work with other departments to resolve billing issues or disputes
* Reconcile customer accounts as needed
* Work closely with collection agency; maintain accurate records relating to collections
* Collections and follow-up, contact clients with past-due accounts
* Assist with month end and year end projects as needed
* Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations related to account receivable activities
** Working Conditions
*** Full-Time
* Remote/In-Office/Hybrid work environment
* Able to lift up to 25 lbs.
* Prolonged computer and phone use
* Work is primarily performed during standard business hours, Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. EST.

Qualifications
* Required
* * 1-3 years accounts receivable experience
* High attention to detail, clear communicator, excellent customer service skills
* Strong aptitude to learn and remain flexible to specific industry concerns
* Strong collaborative and team skills
* Preferred
* * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
* Proficiency in Netsuite
