We’re searching for an onsite Controller in Charlottesville, VA to help strengthen, stabilize, and elevate the accounting function for a mission-driven, multi-site organization
.
This is NOT a “sit back and review the numbers” role. We need a strong accountant + hands‑on leader who can step in, take ownership, and make an impact.
What you’ll own:- Lead and develop the accounting team
- Financial reporting, close, cash flow & budgeting
- Multi-entity / multi-site accounting
- Process and systems improvements
- Bring structure, accountability & consistency
- Proven accounting + leadership experience
- Strong technical fundamentals —
CPA not required - Hands‑on, proactive, and comfortable in the details
- Multi‑site / multi‑entity experience is a BIG plus
- Willing to be onsite in Charlottesville
Experience with hospitality, real estate, property management, public accounting, or other complex operational environments can translate well for this role.
