Overview
The MI Operations PMO team is part of the Finance & Operations function within S&P’s Market Intelligence division. We lead and manage long‑cycle commercial and operational programs in partnership with business and functional leaders, aligned to MI’s strategic priorities.

Grade Level: 10
Responsibilities & Impact- Combining high‑quality execution ability, attention to detail, strong project management and communication skills.
- Successfully execute business transformation initiatives to support the strategic direction of the Market Intelligence division.
- Partner with business and functional stakeholders to drive significant, measurable change.
- Create and monitor project plans and governance structures.
- Gather requirements, identify key success factors, manage risks, issues, dependencies, communications, and prepare presentation materials.
- Manage stakeholder relationships, resolve conflicts, and facilitate political aspects of stakeholder management.
- Develop business strategies and tools to identify barriers and facilitate prevention strategies.
- Collaborate across a global organization.
- Act as first‑line communication with junior team members; propose resource‑allocation improvements.
- Work independently and make project‑related decisions with guidance from the Group Leader.
- Document and incorporate stakeholder and customer feedback.
- Recommend plan customizations to best serve project needs.
- Work on sensitive projects or with sensitive data.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of project/program/portfolio management experience.
- Proficient in financial terminology and concepts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field; certifications (e.g., CAPM) are a plus.
- Experience in project support roles with strong organization, analysis, and communication skills.
- Ability to gather and analyze project‑related data to track performance.
- Support development and execution of project plans, timelines, schedules, and risk logs.
- Monitor project budgets and expenditures; prepare financial reports.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders; prepare status updates and reports.
- Lead cross‑functional project teams using standard tools (charter, project plan, RAID, RACI, etc).
- Work in a collaborative environment at all organization levels.
- Proactive, self‑directed, able to thrive in fluid environments and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Moderate knowledge of Excel and Visio.
- PMP Certification or project management coursework.
- Financial Services / Capital Markets experience.
Anticipated base salary range: $64,320 to $103,198. Eligibility for an annual incentive bonus.
