Regulatory Compliance Specialist
These roles focus on ensuring safety, security, and adherence to laws and regulations across various functions. They encompass law enforcement, security, counsel, and regulatory compliance, protecting individuals, property, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
These roles are responsible for ensuring that the university adheres to all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. Compliance officers monitor university operations, develop compliance programs, and provide training to reduce legal and regulatory risks.
Individual contributors with responsibility in a professional discipline or specialty spend the majority of their time leading the design, implementation, or delivery of processes, programs, and policies using specialized knowledge and skills normally acquired through advanced education (typically a university degree).
Established and productive individual contributors work independently with general to limited supervision. Problems faced are difficult and may be complex. They may influence others regarding policies, practices, and procedures and may have project management responsibilities on small, less-complex projects.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSEducation:
Bachelor's degree. Four years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Experience:
At least two years of relevant experience.
Licensure:
None
This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings and programs.
The pay range for this role is $70,595.20 - $ annually. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.
