Site Safety Specialist – Louisa, VA (Data Center)

Salary: $100,000–$125,000

About the Role

Urgent need for a Construction Safety Specialist to oversee health and safety compliance on a data center project in Louisa, VA. This role is responsible for ensuring adherence to OSHA regulations, conducting site inspections, and promoting a strong safety culture across all project teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform regular safety inspections and audits
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and safety standards
  • Identify hazards and implement corrective actions
  • Lead safety training and promote safe work practices
  • Maintain safety documentation and reports
  • Support incident investigations and root cause analysis
  • Collaborate with project teams on job hazard analysis (JSA)
  • Act as liaison with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies
Requirements
  • 5+ years of construction safety experience
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred) in Safety or related field
  • Certifications such as CSP or CHST (preferred)
  • Experience with accident investigation and reporting is preferred
