Site Safety Specialist – Louisa, VA (Data Center)
Salary: $100,000–$125,000
About the RoleUrgent need for a Construction Safety Specialist to oversee health and safety compliance on a data center project in Louisa, VA. This role is responsible for ensuring adherence to OSHA regulations, conducting site inspections, and promoting a strong safety culture across all project teams.
Key Responsibilities- Perform regular safety inspections and audits
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and safety standards
- Identify hazards and implement corrective actions
- Lead safety training and promote safe work practices
- Maintain safety documentation and reports
- Support incident investigations and root cause analysis
- Collaborate with project teams on job hazard analysis (JSA)
- Act as liaison with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies
- 5+ years of construction safety experience
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred) in Safety or related field
- Certifications such as CSP or CHST (preferred)
- Experience with accident investigation and reporting is preferred
