The City of Charlottesville is seeking a Combination Building Inspector to enforce the Virginia USBC and City Code for new and existing buildings. You will perform field inspections, review plans, issue stop-work orders, and prepare occupancy certificates while coordinating with departments.
Required are a high school diploma or GED and at least 3 years in building construction or inspections;
Virginia certification within 18 months; valid driver's license; strong communication and detail
