Salt Company Worship Coordinator: part-time Competencies
- A track record of spiritual maturity and character consistent with the biblical requirements for leadership.

- Musically skilled and able to teach others who are musically skilled.
- Highly relational and self‑motivated leader.
- Competent with Planning Center Online (preferred).
- Executing worship at Salt Company
- Lead the full scope of worship for the Salt Company ministry.
- Schedule and coordinate volunteers for Salt Company via Planning Center Online (PCO).
- Construct weekly Salt Company setlists (regularly adding new songs).
- Maintain clear, consistent communication with band members on worship plan, preparation, and feedback.
- Maintain the continuity of worship experience at Salt Company with Center Church’s Sunday Services.
- Volunteer onboarding, care and development
- Manage band auditions and onboarding process of new band volunteers.
- Support volunteer appreciation and team connection efforts.
- Educate and reinforce Center Church’s worship values and vision within band volunteers.
- Seek opportunities to develop band members into worship leaders (at Salt Company, through Bootcamps, or in 1v1 settings).
- Coordinating the worship of strategic events like Fall Retreat.
- Participate in below meetings (and others as needed)
- Weekly Salt Company Large Group (Setup audio, lead worship band in rehearsal and execution, lead band prayer time) (4hrs)
- Weekly “Service Review” meeting (1hr)
- Monthly “All Staff” ministry meeting (2hrs)
- “1v1 w/ Supervisor” meeting every 2-3 weeks (1hr)
- Once-a-semester “Worship Bootcamp” (2hrs)
- Once-a-year Salt Staff Training hosted by Salt Company National
- Build out Ableton for both Center Church and Salt Company teams each week.
- Function as a leader on Center Church’s worship team and support that ministry as needed.
The responsibilities listed above reflect common tasks required of this role but should not be considered all inclusive. This role should expect to complete a wide variety of tasks as needed or as assigned.
Position DetailsThe anticipated start date is March 1, 2026, and this position will remain open until filled. This is a part‑time, hourly position with an expected workload of 15‑20 hours per week depending on the needs of the ministry. This position will report to the Salt Company Director and will work closely with both the Salt Company Team and Center Church’s worship team.
The anticipated pay range for this role is $19‑24 per hour, commensurate with education and experience. The successful candidate is expected to be/become a member of Center Church and to uphold the membership covenant.
