Event Planner

The Thomas Jefferson Foundation, Inc., stewards Monticello, Thomas Jefferson's historic home in Charlottesville, VA. We seek an Event Planner to design and execute mission-driven public programs, special events, and educational experiences that illuminate Jefferson's legacy and the lives of the enslaved community. This role manages full event life cycles, including concept development, logistics, budgeting, vendor coordination, and on-site execution. Working closely with historians, educators, and museum professionals, the planner ensures historically accurate, inclusive, and engaging events that support preservation, interpretation, and public engagement at this national historic site.
