Job description:

We are seeking a Transportation Support Service professional to assist TJAGLCS faculty, staff, and students with personal property moves. This position provides customer service, reviews moving documentation, and coordinates with the appropriate Personal Property Transportation Office (PPTO).

• Receive and review forms and supporting documents for inbound and outbound shipments of household goods, unaccompanied baggage, pets, and privately owned vehicles (POVs). Verify that submissions are complete and accurate before forwarding them to the appropriate PPTO.
• Assist faculty, staff, and students with personal property shipping questions in accordance with applicable regulations and current policy. Provide assistance by appointment and to walk-in customers, giving priority to scheduled appointments.
• Process inbound Do It Yourself (DITY) moves.
• Issue TJAGLCS annual parking passes to authorized recipients and maintain an accurate issuance log.
• Assign cubie lockers to GC students.
• Brief or instruct large groups on procedures within the position’s functional area.

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least five years of experience in the functional area, including customer conflict resolution.
• Knowledge of current policies and changes within the past three years that apply to the functional area.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to brief large groups.
