Core Responsibilities
- Architectural Stewardship:
Lead the design development and technical execution of diverse projects from initial concept through final construction administration. - BIM Leadership:
Architect high-fidelity, fully coordinated Revit models and construction documentation sets, ensuring seamless integration across all disciplines. - Project Governance:
Manage complex workflows for renovations, additions, and new construction, maintaining rigorous quality control and code compliance throughout the project lifecycle. - Strategic
Collaboration:
Act as the primary technical liaison between project managers, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams to resolve intricate design challenges. - Mentorship & Growth:
Elevate the firm's collective talent by providing technical guidance and design mentorship to junior architectural staff. - Client & Stakeholder Management:
Direct communication with clients and contractors to ensure project milestones are met with precision and transparency. - Industry Innovation:
Stay at the forefront of sustainable design trends and building code evolutions to ensure the firm remains a regional leader in AEC best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Education:
Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch) from an accredited program. - Experience:
Minimum of 7 years of progressive architectural experience with a proven track record in technical project delivery. - Software Proficiency:
Expert-level command of Revit for complex modeling, detailing, and project coordination. - Technical Expertise:
Comprehensive understanding of building systems, materials, and IBC/local building codes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Licensure:
Active AIA licensure or a clear path to imminent registration. - Sector
Experience:
Specific expertise in K–12 Educational facilities or high-end commercial office projects. - Specialized Knowledge:
Familiarity with LEED/sustainable design principles or historic renovation protocols.
