Position Overview
The Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Virginia is seeking candiates for a tenure-ineligible clinical faculty position at the Assistant/Associate Professor Level, with subspecialty focus on adult lung transplant/cystic fibrosis to join our program. Rank will be dependent upon qualifications.
Responsibilities- Participate in our lung transplant/cystic fibrosis practice.
- Participate in the management of lung transplant patients.
- Actively participate in clinical teaching of fellows, residents, and medical students.
- Completed a lung transplant fellowship program or have a strong background in clinical pulmonology.
- Experience caring for patients with chronic complex respiratory disorders, such as cystic fibrosis.
- Experience in cystic fibrosis, interstitial lung disease management, and bronchiectasis is desired.
- Pass a criminal background check and pre-employment health/drug screening.
