In addition to clinical services, responsibilities will include teaching medical students, residents, and fellows; and clinical, translational and/or basic science research. This is a tenure-eligible track position. Rank and compensation are dependent upon qualifications, experience and scholarly achievement.

The University of Virginia is located east of the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, just 30 minutes from Shenandoah National Park and 100 miles south of Washington DC. Qualifications
Candidates must have an MD and be board-eligible or board-certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology. Completion or pending completion of fellowship training or extensive experience is required in the area of advanced ablative surgery and multidisciplinary management of patients with head and neck cancer. Experience in reconstructive microsurgery, and robotic surgery are preferred. Candidates with expertise in basic science or translational research are encouraged to apply.
Evidence of academic productivity is highly valued.
