Position: Virginia – Central – SCI Practice at Academic Institution

The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at a University located in Virginia is searching for a physiatrist for their clinical based practice. This primary inpatient position will focus on the rehab management of SCI patients in the acute, subacute, and chronic phases of care. The health system will be starting a wheelchair program soon, so the new physiatrist will have the opportunity to be deeply involved with that.

Additionally, there is currently no SCI fellowship program, but would be willing to support one if you choose to take on that task. Doing so will include compensation for it, as well as allowing the physician to benefit from academic protection.
