Teach, lead, and inspire students as a part‑time classroom teacher in the Albemarle County Public Schools system. Responsible for delivering high‑quality instruction in the assigned content area, engaging students in authentic and challenging learning experiences, and contributing to a culturally responsive classroom environment that supports equity and inclusion.

• Plan and deliver instruction aligned with state standards and the division’s equity mission.
• Use culturally responsive teaching practices to meet the diverse needs of all students.
• Collaborate with administrators, coaches, and specialists to support student learning.
• Maintain accurate classroom records and communicate progress to families.

• Valid teacher certification or candidate status in the relevant content area.
• Innovative, self‑reflective, and collaborative teaching style.
• Passionate about closing achievement gaps and committed to the division’s Anti‑Racism policy.
• Prepared to engage with the Culturally Responsive Teaching model and Equity Mission Statement.
• Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.
