Part-time Faculty Wage in Management, McIntire School of Commerce; Faculty Wage

Overview

Short‑term and/or part‑time teaching assignment for faculty. Wage faculty (adjunct) compensated via Period Activity Pay. Positions begin August 2026; each will teach 3‑9 credit hours in the 2026‑27 academic year within Management courses.

• Organizational Behavior
• Introduction to Management / Business Administration

Teach assigned courses, prepare and deliver lectures, develop and grade assignments, and engage students in a dynamic, student‑centered learning environment.

• A master’s degree in Business or a closely related field is required; a Ph.D. in a relevant field is preferred.
• Industry or educational experience in Management is required; prior teaching experience at the higher‑education level is preferred.
• Exceptional interpersonal and collaborative team skills, with a desire to work in an environment that emphasizes teamwork, innovation, and student‑centered learning.

• All faculty must pass a background check at the time of the offer, in accordance with University policy.
• Physical requirements may include travel, use of computers and specialized equipment, standing, moving, bending, lifting, and effective communication in various settings.
