Assistant Principal of Albemarle High School – Albemarle County Public Schools

Assistant Principal responsibilities include supporting the principal in school operations, student discipline, instructional leadership, and fostering an inclusive culture of learning and high expectations.

• Virginia teaching license with endorsement in Administration and Supervision PK-12 (eligible by June 30 2026)
• Minimum of five years teaching experience
• Demonstrated ability to work with all students, staff, and families
• Lifelong learning mindset and collaborative leadership style

• Innovative, reflective, collaborative, and knowledgeable about school leadership and instructional best practices
• Passionate about closing equity and achievement gaps
• Prepared to engage with our Culturally Responsive Teaching model
