Non-Tenure Track, Part-Time Lecturer Positions
The Professional and Enrichment Programs (PEP) unit in the University of Virginia (UVA) School of Continuing and Professional Studies (SCPS) seeks applications for one or more non-tenure track, part-time (faculty wage) lecturer position(s) for teaching noncredit sessions and courses on leadership, communication, public administration, and coaching. The ability to lead engaging, interactive sessions online (primarily on Zoom) and in person is essential.
Specifically, the PEP unit is seeking mentor coaches to mentor aspiring coaches in the Organizational Leadership Coaching Certificate program.
Required
Education:
- For coaching education, a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential issued by the International Coaching Federation (ICF) is required. For mentor coaching, a PCC credential and mentor coach training for the ACC level is required.
- An undergraduate degree is required, and a graduate degree is preferred.
Required Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience in related content area.
- At least 3 years of teaching/training experience.
- Experience with online and in-person intensive training/education programs.
- Willingness to learn and stay current with teaching strategies and technologies.
Preferred Experience:
- 5+ years of higher education teaching or training experience
- Relevant industry certifications and/or professional memberships
- Proficiency using Canvas or similar LMS platforms
