DescriptionThe University of Virginia School of Law seeks candidates for a small number of tenure-line (entry-level, full) or visiting faculty positions beginning in August 2027. These new faculty members will join a vibrant scholarly community in the School of Law, which takes pride in its collegial and supportive environment.
The positions will remain open to applications until filled.
QualificationsJ.D. from an ABA-accredited law school or foreign equivalent degree strongly preferred. In exceptional cases, a terminal degree in the applicant’s field (e.g., a Ph.D.) will be considered. Rank and compensation subject to individual qualifications and experience. Distinguished academic and professional background and superior scholarly record expected. Curriculum needs varied.
