Job DescriptionApex is seeking a Property Analyst who will maintain an existing portfolio of land assets in support of the development, financing, construction, and operation of renewable energy projects. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least two years of relevant experience that includes knowledge of real estate contract terms and conditions and the ability to understand and interpret complex legal documents.
Preference will be given to applicants with past paralegal experience, strong computer and math skills. Candidates must have strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills and must be able to work with cross-functional teams of internal and external resources. Work is based in Charlottesville, VA.

- Helps set up lease payments and ensure that leases are paid in a timely manner; troubleshoots landowner payment issues
- Inputs and maintains data related to leases and other agreements in lease tracking database
- Monitors expiration dates of land agreements and drafts extension letters/notices as required
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field
- At least two years of related experience with preference given to candidates with strong math and computer skills
- Must possess knowledge of real estate contract terms and conditions and must have the ability to understand and interpret complex legal documents
- Able to work closely with cross-functional teams of internal and external resources
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Able to project a positive image of the company and cultivate and maintain positive relationships
- Willing and able to work from our Headquarters in Charlottesville, Virginia
Works primarily traditional office hours in an indoor office environment. Flexible work hours allowed when work duties and business operations permit.
