Nuclear Systems Analyst, Mid The Opportunity

Threats to the nation and our military are regularly evolving and becoming more complex. What if you could apply your proficiency as an all‑source analyst to weaken these developing threats and contribute to the security of our country's dynamic military resources? With all the information accessible today, it takes a capable specialist to know how to collect, organize, and present data concisely to clients.

If you have professional or military experience in all‑source analysis, along with a "can‑do" mindset, we have an opportunity for you to use those skills to help enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of senior government and military decision‑makers and planners, and support real‑world missions in a dynamic, client environment.

As a Nuclear Engineering All‑Source Intelligence Analyst, you will support defense analytical requirements with enhanced scientific or engineering research, reverse engineering analysis, characterizations, and facility and vulnerability assessments on nuclear capabilities, including nuclear engineering and sub‑disciplines of thermo‑hydraulics, seismic or earthquake, physics, computational science, and fission reactor engineering.

You Have
  • Experience conducting all‑source analytic production on nuclear programs, including production facilities, stockpiles, logistics, systems employment, security, and vulnerabilities of facilities and stockpiles
  • Experience with all‑source analysis production, including analytic tradecraft, ICD 203 and 206, and DIA writing style
  • Knowledge of nuclear weapons programs, including nuclear weapon effects, nuclear fuel cycle, and nuclear infrastructure
  • Knowledge of applying and querying SIGINT, GEOINT, OSINT, and HUMINT data sets and databases
  • Ability to independently develop high‑quality tailored deliverables, including actionable leads, ICD‑compliant written products, network charts, and formal or informal briefings
  • Ability to adjust to changing mission requirements and deliver products within a short timeframe
  • Ability to collaborate with other mission partners on production and take lead briefing at unique events
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
  • Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience with intelligence, or 7+ years of experience with intelligence in lieu of a degree
Nice if you have
  • Experience countering missiles and delivery systems, advanced weapons, and CBRNE
  • Experience with data analytics and visualization
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Engineering, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Chemical Engineering
