Civil Engineer

We are searching for a Civil Engineer for a well-established, growing company. The ideal candidate for the Civil Engineer role will help manage Civil Site designs, including layout, grading, drainage, stormwater management planning, and utility coordination for commercial, residential, and municipal development.

• Responsible for civil site design, including layout, grading, drainage, stormwater management planning, and utility coordination for commercial, residential, and municipal development.
• Work may include planning, scheduling, and coordinating work with support staff and sub-consultants, conducting field investigations, permitting, report writing, design development, and implementing construction phase services.
• Preparing applications to local and state agencies.

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.
• 2 years minimum experience in site development projects, including stormwater, grading, utility, and roadway design.
• Experience with applications to the State Department of Environmental Protection.
• PE License in VA or ability to obtain within six months (Preferred).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Hydro CAD, and MS Office.
• EIT Mandatory.
• Proficiency in preparing engineering reports and technical studies such as design memos, feasibility studies, and concept design reports.

• Base salary of $80K - $110K on experience.
