We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Health Psychologist in the Department of Psychiatry and Neurobehavioral Sciences to be a lead mental health provider in the Ryan White HIV Program. The University of Virginia Ryan White HIV Program is a federally and state funded program designed to provide comprehensive care and support services for individuals with HIV/AIDS. The program provides whole-person care for approximately 1000 people with HIV.
With Ryan White support, the University of Virginia has been able to offer psychologic and psychiatric care embedded into the HIV clinic. As a Clinical Health Psychologist within the Ryan White program, the faculty member will play a vital role in providing psychological and behavioral care for people with HIV, and enhancing the overall well‑being and quality of life for people with HIV.
