Overview
Provide radiation therapy to patients as prescribed by a Radiation Oncologist according to established practices and standards. Duties may include but are not limited to:
- Deliver external beam radiotherapy (3D, IMRT, SRS/SBRT)
- Deliver brachytherapy treatment
- Perform patient simulation, including immobilization, treatment, and protection devices
- Review patient records for accuracy
- Act as liaison with physicians and supportive care personnel
- Maintain patient records, reports, and files

EducationAssociates level degree required. Completion of an approved certification program prior to 2016 in lieu of an Associate degree will also be considered.
Certification / Licensure- ARRT Radiation Therapy – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- All new graduates will remain Radiation Therapist I for the first 2 years of employment and must pass boards within 6 months of hire.
