Program Manager

JABA Respite & Enrichment Center (JREC)

Position Summary

The Program Manager provides leadership and oversight of the JABA Respite & Enrichment Center, ensuring high-quality, person-centered services for older adults and their caregivers. This role directs daily operations, supervises staff, ensures regulatory compliance, manages budgets, and strengthens community partnerships to support program excellence and growth.

Key Responsibilities
Program & Operations Management
  • Plan, implement, and evaluate daily and long-term program activities.

  • Ensure meals, activities, and services meet participant needs and regulatory standards.

  • Develop and manage the annual budget; monitor expenses.

  • Track outcomes, maintain data systems, and prepare reports for funders and stakeholders.

  • Lead continuous quality improvement efforts.

Enrollment & Member Services
  • Conduct tours, outreach, and community presentations.

  • Complete member assessments in partnership with the RN.

  • Maintain compliant and accurate participant files.

Staff Leadership
  • Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate staff.

  • Provide coaching and professional development.

  • Conduct regular meetings and performance reviews.

  • Address disciplinary matters as needed.

Compliance & Reporting
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable licensing and oversight agencies.

  • Complete required reports accurately and on time.

Partnership & Community Engagement
  • Build collaborative relationships within JABA and the community.

  • Participate in outreach, networking, and approved marketing efforts.

Organizational Culture
  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing work environment.

  • Support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.

  • Maintain strict confidentiality of participant and organizational information.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field OR 5–8 years of relevant experience required.

  • Personal Care Training credentials required.

  • Master’s degree preferred.

  • Experience working with individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias strongly preferred.

Position Details
  • Full-time, primarily Monday–Friday; occasional evenings/weekends required.

  • Local travel required; occasional overnight travel possible.

  • Not eligible for remote work.
