Overview
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Xray Technologist located in Charlottesville, VA. The Xray Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging procedures, operate radiologic equipment, ensure proper radiation safety practices, and provide high-quality care to patients.
Responsibilities- Prepare patients for imaging procedures.
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures and operate radiologic equipment.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure high standards of medical imaging and patient care.
- Ensure adherence to radiation safety protocols and standards.
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and proficiency in Radiologic Technology.
- Strong knowledge and application of Radiation Safety protocols and standards.
- Experience in Radiology and familiarity with the medical field.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for patient care and teamwork.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Candidates with prior experience in a medical or clinical setting will be given preference.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
