* Education:

** High School Diploma or equivalent. Graduated from an CAHEEP or ABHES accredited by CAHEEP/ABHES OR NCCT Approved program.

* Experience:

** Three years of experience required.

** Licensure:
** BLS required. Certified to practice as a Surgical Technologist by NBSTSA (The National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting). Current Registration with Virginia Board of Medicine required at the time of hire.

** PHYSICAL DEMANDS*
* Job requires standing for prolonged periods;
Repetitive motion: passing instruments, lifting heavy instrument sets. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills;
Attention to detail and ability to write legibly;
Ability to lift/push/pull >50 - 100lbs. May be exposed to cold, radiation, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.

The pay rate for this role is $52.00 hourly. This position is compensated at a fixed rate. Compensation is established in accordance with the position's approved pay structure.
