Position: Caregiver | Full-Time, Part-Time & On-Call Shifts Available

VISITING ANGELS Charlottesville is located in Charlottesville VA. We serve Charlottesville and surrounding areas.

Role Overview:

As a Caregiver at Visiting Angels Charlottesville, you will be responsible for providing compassionate care and support to our clients in their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with a dedicated team to ensure the well‑being and comfort of those in our care. Whether you work full-time, part-time, or on-call weekend shifts, you’ll have the flexibility to make a meaningful impact in the lives of others.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.

Provide companionship and engage clients in social and recreational activities.

Provide medication reminders ONLY.

Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for clients.

Collaborate with providers and nursing staff and family members to ensure care plans are followed and updated as needed.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

Compassion and empathy towards clients and their families.

Excellent communication skills in English.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Prior experience in caregiving or a similar role is a plus.

Pass a background check and required certifications.

Possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Bonus If You:

Have CPR and First Aid certification.

Speak additional languages to assist in communication with clients.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position offers Full-Time, Part-Time daily and weekend shifts and On-Call shifts Saturday and Sunday.

This position is based out of Charlottesville, Virginia.
