This mid-sized hospital in Charlottesville, Virginia seeks an Obstetrics & Gynecology clinician for locum tenens coverage on sporadic dates from October through December. The role involves providing comprehensive clinic-based and hospital obstetric and gynecologic care, including day shifts and 24-hour pager call assignments. Clinicians will manage return OB patients, same-day visits, and perform surgical procedures such as C-sections in the labor and delivery operating rooms.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinic-based and hospital obstetric and gynecologic coverage
• Cover day shifts and 24-hour pager call assignments
• Provide office coverage for vacation weeks including return OB patients and same-day visits only
• Perform surgical responsibilities including C-sections in the L&D OR

Shift & Schedule

• Locum tenens
• Sporadic dates, October - December
• Day shift and call
• Hospital coverage runs Sunday through Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM
• Office coverage for vacation weeks includes Tuesday and Thursday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• 24-hour pager call throughout each designated coverage period
