Description
Provide guests with personalized and luxury service. Assist all guests with a wide scope of service and be a liaison between guests and other internal departments. Collect and provide information to guests about the property and the surrounding area, including local dining and attractions. Ensure accuracy, follow-through and timeliness in all services to guests.
Essential Job Functions Include:- Maintain familiarity with local attractions and restaurants and have a thorough knowledge of Resort property, staff and services to communicate to guests.
- Maintain strong working relationships local establishments, vineyards, and other tourist locations.
- Spearhead amenities for all guests.
- Handle of VIP and repeat guest program initiatives.
- Offer to make all guest reservations, on or off property.
- Provides guests with travel information, such as transportation options and costs.
- Follow up with guest requests in a timely manner.
- Demonstrate anticipatory service to meet and exceed guests’ needs.
- Coordinate transportation and special events shuttle to/from hotel with the Bell staff (including ticket sales for UVA events.)
- Maximize sales revenue through the sale of gift certificates and upgrades.
- Frequently monitor lobby/ordinary room/brochure rack aesthetics.
- Handle special projects and requests per Front Office Management.
- Assist with prompt and courteous check-in/check-out of guests and other Front Desk duties when needed.
- At least 2 years’ experience in Hospitality or related service industries.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Even disposition and ability to handle stress effectively.
- Professional phone etiquette.
- Self-motivated and proactive.
- Ability to work weekends and extended hours on an at-needed basis.
