Director of Catering Sales

Boar’s Head Resort is looking for an accomplished Director of Catering who can turn celebrations, meetings, weddings, and special occasions into experiences guests remember long after they leave.

Located in beautiful Charlottesville, Virginia, Boar’s Head Resort offers a unique environment where luxury hospitality, events, culinary excellence, and relationship-driven service come together.

We are looking for someone who understands both sides of catering:

the business behind the event—and the emotion behind the experience.

In this role, you’ll:

• Lead catering sales strategy and revenue generation
• Develop relationships with wedding, corporate, social, and group clients
• Guide clients from initial inquiry through event execution
• Partner closely with Banquets, Culinary, Sales, Food & Beverage, and Resort Operations
• Develop and coach catering professionals
• Maintain exceptional standards for communication, presentation, and service
• Identify opportunities to grow business while strengthening the guest experience
