Data & Analytics Assistant
The UVA Career Center is seeking a Data & Analytics Assistant to extract data resources from several programs and products, assist in assembling the data for inclusion in a central repository, and design visual reports utilizing the assembled data in Qlik, a B.I. tool used by the university. The Career Center generates a robust set of data resources from its various platforms and interactions with employers and students.
An ideal candidate should:
- Be able to quickly orient themselves in a software platform and be able to extract data reports in a consistent and comprehensive manner.
- Have experience working in a relational database environment and utilizing a query language.
This position is ideal for an MSDS graduate student or someone looking for experience in:
Business Intelligence, Data Visualization, and Information Management.
This position is open to all undergraduate and graduate UVA students. Undergraduate wage is $16.75 an hour and Graduate wage is $18.00 an hour.
This position begins in the summer and runs through the full academic year.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
