Client Engagement Manager
to join our team in
Charlottesville, VA or Raleigh, NC.

A CEM will drive technology and analytics delivery by managing client relationships, consulting projects, and technology teams. Internally, they regularly interface with technical data scientists, data engineers, and software engineers to aid in business analysis, technology design and delivery, quality assurance, and project reporting. Externally, they regularly interface with clients at numerous levels of an organization—project managers, stakeholders, end-users, data owners, analysts, IT groups, management, and executives—to drive the tactical delivery of analytics projects.

As they grow in experience and responsibility, a CEM will assume a larger role in partnering with client managers and executives to define and drive an analytics strategy and roadmap. They will develop long range engagement plans that outline strategy growth initiatives for their portfolio of clients. They will interface with our data science and engineering leaders to develop technology roadmaps.

They will interface with our Directors and Vice Presidents to review growth and expansion opportunities.

• Provide consulting support and guidance to data science and engineering teams on business analysis, technology approach, analytic solutions, project management process (scope, schedule, cost), and client engagement to drive delivery success.
• Monitor critical metrics like utilization, burn rate, timeline, and risk.
• Facilitate client engagements and relationships in partnership with other ERI leaders.
• Work with Directors and Vice Presidents to review growth and expansion opportunities.
• Create project proposals (scope, level of effort estimates, schedules), statements of work, and price proposals for new work and expansions to existing work.
• Maintain and communicate a solid understanding of analytics and data science techniques, tools, approaches, methodologies, and solutions.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or other technical field.
• Multi-year experience with project management and/or software development life cycles
