A national law firm is seeking a junior to mid-level partner patent professional with a background in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, software, healthcare technologies, e-commerce or telecommunications. License to practice before the PTO is required. Other relevant experience may include reexamination and interference proceedings, patent litigation, and patent licensing and transactional work, in addition to trademark, copyright, or trade secret experience.

Excellent writing credentials, and strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills are required.

A moderate book of business is required. This position will be based in our Virginia Beach, Charlottesville, Richmond, Tysons, Washington, D.C., Raleigh, or Research Triangle Park offices.
