Location: Hybrid- 1 day onsite in Charlottesville
The UKG (Kronos) Manager is responsible for overseeing the configuration, optimization, and daily operations of the UKG Workforce Management system within a large hospital or health system. This role ensures accurate timekeeping, scheduling, labor analytics, and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership experience, deep Kronos expertise, and a solid understanding of workforce management needs in a healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the management, configuration, and ongoing optimization of the UKG/Kronos system, including Timekeeping, Advanced Scheduling, Workforce Dimensions, and related modules.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for all UKG Workforce Management functions, providing guidance to HR, Payroll, Nursing Administration, and other operational departments.
- Oversee system upgrades, enhancements, testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
- Manage and mentor a team responsible for Kronos administration, support, and end-user training.
- Collaborate with IT, HR, Finance, and Clinical Operations to ensure data accuracy, workflow efficiency, and compliance with labor laws and organizational policies.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, standard operating procedures, and training materials.
- Analyze workforce data and system utilization to recommend process improvements and operational efficiencies.
- Coordinate with UKG support and third‑party vendors as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with UKG/Kronos
- 2+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience
. - Healthcare industry experience required
, preferably within a hospital or multi‑facility health system. - Strong understanding of payroll processes, workforce scheduling, and labor compliance.
- Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with UKG Proworkforce management
