Essential Functions
  • Assists the Director of EDEP in the division‑wide coordination and implementation of before‑school, after‑school, student holiday, and summer learning programs;
  • Supports daily operations across multiple EDEP sites to ensure consistency, program quality, and compliance with division expectations;
  • Assists with program scheduling, staffing coverage, enrollment management, operational logistics, and site support;
  • Conducts site visits and provides operational support, coaching, troubleshooting, and follow‑up to ensure effective program implementation;
  • Supports the implementation of safe, engaging, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate expanded learning environments;
  • Assists in coordinating enrichment activities, academic support opportunities, and student engagement programming aligned with division priorities and student needs;
  • Supports implementation of intervention and homework support structures aligned with the division’s Multi‑Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) framework;
  • Assists with recruitment, hiring, onboarding, training, supervision, and support of EDEP site leaders and program staff;
  • Supports substitute coordination and staffing continuity across multiple program locations;
  • Assists with implementation of program procedures, operational expectations, and quality standards;
  • Provides coaching, guidance, and problem‑solving support to EDEP staff regarding program operations, student supervision, and family communication;
  • Assists with planning and facilitating professional learning opportunities for EDEP staff;
  • Supports staff retention and positive workplace culture through ongoing communication, responsiveness, and collaboration;
  • Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with students, families, school administrators, school staff, and community partners;
  • Supports effective communication systems related to enrollment, attendance, program expectations, student participation, and family engagement;
  • Collaborates with school administrators and instructional staff to support continuity between the instructional day and extended learning environment;
  • Assists families with problem‑solving and responds to questions or concerns regarding EDEP services and operations;
  • Supports inclusive and welcoming engagement practices that encourage family participation and equitable access to programming;
  • Supports compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations, health and safety requirements, and division policies and procedures;
  • Assists with implementation of emergency procedures, safety protocols, incident reporting, and risk management expectations;
  • Maintains required operational records, documentation, and program reports;
  • Uses enrollment, attendance, staffing, participation, and operational data to support continuous improvement and informed decision‑making;
  • Assists the Director with monitoring program effectiveness, operational consistency, and implementation of division priorities;
  • Performs related duties as assigned in accordance with school system policies and practices.
