Albemarle Baking Company is hiring for a two-year, full-time Baking Trainee Program designed for individuals interested in developing professional skills in artisan baking.

This program is ideal for recent college graduates or career switchers who are looking for a hands‑on craft, enjoy working with their hands, and want to be part of a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.

• Over the course of two years, trainees will receive structured, on‑the‑job training across all areas of bakery production, including bread and pastry. You will work alongside experienced bakers and gradually take on more responsibility as your skills develop.

• Train in artisan bread and pastry production
• Learn foundational techniques including mixing, shaping, baking, and finishing
• Support daily production in a high‑volume bakery
• Maintain quality and consistency across products

• Recent graduates or individuals early in their careers
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Detail‑oriented and dependable
• Comfortable with physically active work and early or late hours
• No prior baking experience is required. We are looking for people who are motivated to learn and grow in the craft.
• Duration: 2 years
• Compensation: $50,000 annual salary
