Manufacturing​/Industrial Engineering Manager; Onsite

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of product & process engineers/technicians supporting production of existing designs and integration of novel materials for manufacturing of anti‑scatter grids, ceramic cores, and TOMO Direct Metal applications.
• Develop and improve products and manufacturing operations.
• Identify and implement new manufacturing processes and associated equipment.
• Supply resources for addressing real‑time problem resolution on the shop floor.
• Monitor product yield and cost, driving improvements.
• Support MRL progression of all products.
• Support LRIP and transition from design and development phases into production phase.
• Review designs, drawings, and working plans to improve products and facilitate manufacturing operations.
• Provide technical leadership and assist in training less experienced engineers.
• Implement process certification methodologies into all processes.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.
• 8 years of engineering or relevant experience.
• U.S. citizenship (required).
• Experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
• Experience with ceramic and metal powder production.
• Experience with epoxies and molding/injection molding.
• Familiarity with Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) tools.

Salary range: $107,500 - $204,500 USD. Position is onsite in Charlottesville, VA.

This role is onsite: employees will work primarily onsite, supporting production and maintenance work.
