RN Traveler Med​/Surg

Salary: $65 per hour

Shift: First (Days)

Hospital: Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital

Unit: Med/Surg (Day Shift)

Temporary full‑time Registered Nursing (RN) Traveler position in the Med/Surg Unit. The RN will assess, admit, and provide ongoing bedside care to acute hospitalized patients on the day shift.

• Assess and admit patients to the Med/Surg unit.
• Conduct daily rounding checks.
• Administer medications and document care.
• Communicate with patients’ families regarding care and progress.
• Provide overall direct care and coordinate with interdisciplinary team.

• At least 2 years of recent bedside acute hospital experience in Med/Surg.
• RN license valid in the State of Virginia.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (within 90 days of hire).
• RN degree:
  Diploma, ADN, BSN, or MSN.
