As a Registered Nurse in UVA Health’s Outpatient Surgery Centers, you will provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care across a variety of surgical specialties in a focused outpatient environment. This role balances efficiency with clinical rigor and allows nurses to deliver high-quality care in settings intentionally designed for safety, flow, and patient experience.

In this role, you will:

• Deliver perioperative nursing care including preoperative preparation, intraoperative support, and postoperative recovery.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia professionals, surgical technologists, and fellow nurses to ensure safe and seamless procedures.
• Apply evidence‑based practice and standardized protocols to support patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory and professional standards.
• Contribute to a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

• Monday through Friday schedule with no nights, weekends or holidays and minimal call with incentive pay.
• A consistent outpatient case mix that allows for preparation, efficiency, and clinical focus.
