As an Ambulatory Nursing Professional Development Clinical Leader, you will merge clinical expertise with educational strategy to drive nursing excellence across UVA Health’s ambulatory network.

• Partner with clinical and operational leaders to support new projects, workflows, and equipment rollouts while guiding teams through professional growth initiatives.
• Design, deliver, and facilitate engaging education and training plans—including visual learning tools, hands‑on sessions, and orientation programs for nurses and unlicensed assistive personnel.
• Serve as a trusted clinical resource, offering scope‑of‑practice guidance, competency development, and ongoing professional support while leveraging Epic proficiency for workflow optimization.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required;
  Master’s in Nursing or related field, DNP, EdD, or PhD preferred.
• Five years of clinical nursing experience plus three years of education program design, evaluation, and adult learning application, with strong communication skills.
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in Virginia; specialty certification preferred.

Primarily sedentary with extensive computer use; occasional travel to meetings.

Starting base salary $74,922 annually, adjusted for qualifications, experience, and education.
