Elite Medical Staffing is hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) for skilled nursing opportunities in Charlottesville, VA. This position offers competitive pay, consistent scheduling, and the opportunity to work a dedicated assignment with one of our healthcare partners.

An RN working contract through Elite Medical Staffing at a skilled nursing facility may be expected to:

• Utilize EMR to record patients’ medical information and vital signs
• Assess resident health status and identify changes requiring clinical intervention
• Administer medications, treatments, and other nursing interventions in accordance with physician orders
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized resident care plans
• Monitor resident outcomes and communicate changes to physicians and interdisciplinary team members
• Perform skilled nursing procedures within scope of practice and facility guidelines
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and resident responses in the medical record
• Supervise and support LPNs, CNAs, and other care team members as appropriate
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, infection control standards, and regulatory requirements
• Communicate concerns or issues to onsite supervisor and agency
• Other duties as assigned

• Minimum 1 year of DON experience working under an active RN license
• Minimum 1 year of experience working in skilled nursing
• Must have reliable transportation to assigned facilities
• Must maintain consistent attendance and punctuality
• Able to push, pull, and lift at least 50 pounds
• Able to be standing and walking with frequent bending, reaching, and lifting with proper body mechanics
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Willing to complete background and drug screening in accordance with applicable laws and regulations

• Active and unencumbered VA RN License or Compact RN License
• Government-Issued Photo  Passport
• Covid-19 Vaccine (religious/medical exemptions accepted)

• Additional credentials may be required based on facility placement
