Patient Care Supervisor – Registered Nurse (Night Shift)

Location:

Charlottesville, VA. Shift: Third (Nights). Full‑time.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage day‑to‑day operations during the night shift, ensuring high‑quality patient care, safety, and staff efficiency.
  • Act as primary liaison between departments, providing leadership, direction, and support to nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
  • Coordinate patient flow and manage staffing levels.
  • Respond to emergencies and address operational issues throughout the shift.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required;
    Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
  • Registered nursing license required.
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required within 90 days of hire.
  • Professional specialty nursing certification preferred.
  • Minimum two years of acute‑care RN experience.
  • Minimum one year of nursing leadership experience.
  • Experience in emergency room or critical care areas preferred.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
